Diya Welfare Society was established in 2010. Organization is working in twenty villages of Chitrakoot district of UP to build leadership of women from marginalized communities namely Dalit through learning activities for women in villages for them to gain knowledge about their legal rights and role, they can play in over all development process. It is also helping in creating a platform to bring them together and learn from each other’s experience. Our Ngo is making lots of efforts for the betterment of the marginalized, deprived, vulnerable and ignored sections of society by giving them a platform through its creative programs and activities. It believes in the dignity of people and enhancing their capacity to overcome their own problems. The organization has been primarily working on Dalit issues, Health, primary & elementary education, women empowerment, drought mitigation, landless farmers etc.
